Artist's Description
A friend of a friend has a mule called Einstein. Someone had sent me a copy of a photograph of the mule while I was looking around for something to paint as a donation to a silent auction for My Sister's House. The title "Beauty and the Beast" popped into my head and I added the pretty little kitten standing on the post beside the mule.
About Karen Wilson
Bob Wilson, Jr. has inherited his fathers talent. After making a career at the Charleston Naval Shipyard as an engineer, Bob, Jr. started up a desktop publishing business called Fine Art Reproductions that is primarily involved in the reproduction of art work done by Charleston, SC low country artists. He has recently started painting again. His colored pencil sketch “A Weaver’s Prayer was the first piece he did in over twenty five years. He studied the art of portrait painting under his father and has embarked on a career in the fine art of portraiture.
