Artist's Description

The reference for this painting was taken from a photograph my wife took at a Civil War re-enactment. During the battle re-enactment we were standing close to some of the participants and she snapped the photo just as the rifle was being fired. It was an awesome (and lucky!) shot. The original has been sold.
